Letter to I.M.A. members of all local branches

dear member,
After a lot of struggle and good hearted action of our chief minister, we got this historical "Medical protection act".

its our minimum responsibility to spread this message in to the masses and media and lower hierarchy of police system.

By appraising the media, police personnel and common man by giving advertisements, press meets and by displaying the "act" in reception areas of our hospitals, we can prevent hooliganism & vandalism.

The model to be displayed in hospital reception areas is as follows ......

According to act no 11 of 2008, those persons
----trespassing the duties of any medical personnel- doctors, nurses, paramedical staff
----- harming to the people in the medical institutions
----- causing loss of property
------ damaging the structure, equipment of the hospitals -----
are liable under cognizable offense law and they should be arrested under non-bailable sections of law and more over they are liable to pay demerages to the hospital under revenue recovery regulations of this act.

2.OUR STATE IMA FEELS STRONGLY, THAT LAW & ORDER IN COLLEGES, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS SHOULD BE SAFE AND PROTECTIVE AND CONGENIAL TO PEACEFUL EDUCATION.

3. WE ALREADY EXPRESSED OUR ANGUISH OVER THE TERROR ATTACKS ON MUMBAI
