need to change our medical syllabus -----
the existing medical curriculum is very much suitable for good old days.
its also some what suitable for nowadays.
but we need fresh approach in educating the students.
HOW CAN IT BE DONE ?
problem oriented / symptom oriented approach
CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS at rural level
basic investigation skills training
basic emergency medicine training
computer applications relevant to medical data& billing
health insurance applications
medicolegal implications
consumer protection laws
----- thus we have to reequipp the medical students and made them self sufficeient.
