Today what we have in India is 2G connectivity and with this, there is lot of limitations. This gives basic slow internet connectivity (through GPRS and EDGE technology) and that too we can view only the limited content suitable for WAP.

To the people who are on the move, the speed of internet connectivity is very low. This limits their mobile internet operations. We can hear only the stored music and view the stored video.

With 2G mobile phones, it is not possible to download huge files or to watch videos online or listen to music online. All these are possible only with wired broadband connection we are using in our desk tops and data cords in laptops.

If mobile broadband or otherwise called as 3G has to be implemented, then users will be able to enjoy high speed internet connectivity in their mobile devices.

To use internet you need Internet Service Provider (ISP) who provide you internet connection to connect to internet. There are many type of Internet connections like Dialup, fixed line Broadband, and latest wireless mobile broadband.

Wireless Mobile Internet connection is available from long time through GPRS /EDGE but now you can access internet much faster than before with Wireless Mobile Broadband which can provide you speed more then 7 Mbps, much faster then any normal mobile internet connection which only provide max of 256 KBPS.
