a plea to all IMA members ...

As per the decision of the 71st Central Council Meeting held on 27th to 29th December, 2010 at Jaipur, it was decided to observe Protest Day on Saturday, the 22nd January, 2011 by various State/Local Branches of IMA to show our unity and strength to oppose the dissolution of MCI, illegal suspension of license to practice medicine of National President and Hony. Secretary General of IMA, implementation of Clinical Establishment Bill and proposed Bachelor of Rural Healthcare course by organizing the following:

  • Wear Black Badges
  • Organise Press Meet
  • Organise Protest Rally
  • Dharna at a prominent place
  • Burning of effigies of the Board of Governors, MCI
  • Handing over of the Memorandum to the concerned authorities

all local and state IMA branches are expected to take necessary action in this respect and after completion of the programme, please send the report to be compiled at IMA Hqs for further necessary action.
